Join us for ‘Redefining Rheumatology: Supporting Emerging Approaches’ – an engaging evening of idea exchange on the next frontier of innovative therapies for rheumatic diseases.
Rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) are a diverse group of 200+ diseases that commonly affect the joints, but can affect any organ of the body.1 Usually caused by disfunction of an individual’s immune system, many of these diseases are chronic and in severe cases can result in significant disability, having a major impact on both quality of life and life expectancy.2 With an increasingly ageing population, the prevalence and burden of RMDs are predicted to increase, placing greater demands for innovative therapies that could potentially improve outcomes for millions of individuals worldwide living with RMDs.3
At our program, timed to coincide with ACR Convergence 2024, leaders from across the industry and Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine will explore what science is currently shaping the treatment horizon, such as the untapped potential for cutting-edge approaches like precision medicine. In addition, we’ll showcase how early-stage companies can collaborate with Johnson & Johnson to accelerate their innovations in this space. After the programming concludes, we will host a networking reception for individuals to build connections with like-minded colleagues and exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.
